Parvo causing fatal vomiting and diarrhea in Lethbridge Alberta

Unvaccinated puppies are the most susceptible to parvo virus which can be fatal

Even though it is only March we have already started to see some cases of parvo virus. Parvo virus causes loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea- sometimes just one of these symptoms. Pets that pick up parvo virus and do not get veterinary attention often die from it. Parvo virus is preventable through a proper vaccine schedule.

Dogs can pick up parvo virus easily- even just on leash walks in the neighbourhood. The virus is ubiquitous, which means survives everywhere!
